Join the celebration at DMVA’s largest fundraising event and become a 2012 Summer Solstice volunteer! Whether you’re a resident, business owner, student, or community member, DMVA welcomes hard working volunteers to participate in the various opportunities available.
If you are interested in getting involved with Summer Solstice, please choose one or more areas of interest and fill out the volunteer form below by June 1, 2012.
Volunteer Opportunities are 2 hour shifts including tasks below:
Skills:
- Experience and ability to work well independently in a team environment
- Ability to complete basic office administrative tasks
- Good communication skills and flexibility
- Experience with fundraising, marketing, or communications a plus
Day of Event Responsibilities:

Venue Set Up and Auction Table Set Up

Volunteer check-in and Ticket Tables

Greeters/Customer Service

Onsite Assistance clearing Belly Bars, Trash, Silent Auction Assistance

Silent Auction Check-Out

Event Clean up
Requirements: Must be 21 years or older
